By accessing or using Somniscope™ ("the Service"), operated by Iron Axis Digital Studios LLC ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Somniscope is a voice-powered dream journal that uses AI to provide dream interpretations based on various cultural and spiritual traditions. The Service is available as a web application at somniscope.app.

3. Not Medical or Professional Advice

Dream interpretations provided by Somniscope are for entertainment and personal reflection only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or spiritual advice. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

Premium Subscription

• Unlimited dream interpretations
• Access to all 16 cultural traditions
• Re-analyze dreams, pattern analysis, PDF export
• Monthly: $3.99/month
• Yearly: $29.99/year

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the "Manage Subscription" link in the app or by contacting us.

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your subscription email.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of your dream content.
• Dream data is stored locally in your browser — we do not have access to it.
• Dream text sent for AI analysis is processed in real-time and not retained.
• You are responsible for backing up your own data (e.g., via PDF export).

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Circumvent subscription restrictions or payment systems
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights

8. AI-Generated Content

Dream interpretations are generated by AI large language models (LLMs), currently Llama 3.1 8B (via Groq) and Gemma 3 4B (local fallback). See our Privacy Policy for the full model list. AI models can and do produce inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated information ("hallucinations"). By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, fabricated, or culturally imperfect
• Interpretations are not endorsed by practitioners of any tradition
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any AI-generated interpretation
• Iron Axis Digital Studios LLC is not liable for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from AI-generated content
• You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on AI-generated dream analyses
• AI interpretations should never replace professional medical, psychological, or spiritual guidance

9. Availability & Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of significant changes. Pricing changes will not affect current billing periods.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iron Axis Digital Studios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
